BILLING & APPOINTMENTS

Billing

From 3rd October 2022 our practice will be moving to MIXED-BILLING

Dear Patients,
Please be informed that as of 3RD OCTOBER 2022, we will be moving to a MIXED-BILLING practice.

Your doctor and reception staff will explain any additional cost to you and obtain your consent prior to any treatment received.

– Pensioners, health care card holders and children under 16 years will continue to be bulk billed.
– COVID vaccine appointments will be bulk billed.
– Care Plans and Mental Health Care Plans will continue to be bulk billed.

Except for the above, other appointments need to pay a consultation fee with the gap fee (approx $20) dependant on the appointment type.

Please be aware that a non-attendance fee of $40 will be charged (face-to-face, video and phone consultations). Patients with no Medicare cards will need to pay full amount after consultations, we do not claim directly to insurance.

We thank you for your understanding our decision and hope that we can continue to provide you and your family with the high-quality clinical care we have offered.

If you have any questions please contact our Reception team on 8842 2100.

Appointments

Appointments can be made in person, by telephone or via our online booking system. Please do not email for an appointment.

We prefer appointments for consultation with a doctor but we also accept walk-in patient consultations. In the latter case, there could be a waiting time depending upon the day’s schedule.

Urgent consultations and children’s care are always given priority.

Longer consultations are available by appointment. If you require an extended consultation it is important to inform our staff at the time of making your appointment so we can allocate the appropriate time.
In case of an emergency please call 000.
