Dr Islam is a qualified General Practitioner who graduated in 2010 with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
In addition to English, he is also fluent in Bengali and Hindi.
He is interested in all aspects of general practice and his areas of specific interests include management of all chronic diseases, men’s health care, geriatric care, women’s health, maternal and child healthcare.
He is committed to the patients and devoted to providing high level of quality healthcare service to the community.
Ms Carla Battaglia, APD
Accredited Practising Dietitian
Carla Battaglia is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia. She is very enthusiastic and passionate about working with each client on an individual level to improve their overall health through nutrition.
Carla’s qualifications include: Master in Dietetics at Deakin University, Bachelor of Science (Nutritional Therapy) and Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biomedical Science.
Carla not only has extensive knowledge in weight loss and weight management, Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease, she can also apply evidenced based practise in food intolerances/allergies, inflammatory bowel conditions and symptoms. She has completed FODMAP training with Monash University so has in depth knowledge to work with patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
